Alex Tapia

Team Leader, Editing Team

Alex Tapia is a third-year student at George Washington University studying Applied Mathematics with a deep connection to Middle Eastern affairs through her study of the Arabic language and study abroad in Oman. At the Onero Institute, Alex is Assistant Director of the Middle East Program and heads the program’s internal editing team.

Alex is from the Bay Area in California, and has an interest in insurance policy and risk analysis shaped by climate change’s challenges to insuring her home. She also follows emerging financial sectors in the Arabian peninsula after her time learning about start-ups in Oman. She enjoys learning new languages and skills, and can read five alphabets!
